I am interested in finding out information with regard to tryouts in the near future. My daughter is 12 and will be attending your camp and is interested in joining Blaze but I know little to nothing about the process. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Our Try Outs for the 2011-12 Season will be up on the website and in the local media around the 20th of August. Your daughter will also get an information package at camp. Thank you for conisdering Blaze in your volleyball plans.
I have been the girls volleyball coach at Burlington Christian Academy for the last 7 years. I am looking for some coaching clinics to "brush up" on skills and drills for the Elementary School level. I already have my level 1 NCCP from a few years ago. Do you have anything like that? Do you have open practices for people to watch? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

How do we contact you other than through this blog? My daughter has played volleyball on her school team in grades 6 & 7. What level would you consider her for summer camp?
She would be in the Beginners Camp in July. All athletes are given an evaluation and placed in skill groups where they can build on their current level of abilities.
Where is the contact info on the website? I am looking for information on the Skill Building Clinics for girls 10 yrs old at Lakeshore Public School. I would imagine you need to register or how do you know how many will show up? and I understand it is either $5 an athlete per session or $10 for 2 or more athletes from the same school per session (I might be bringing 3 from the same school). Please advise.
I just want to say a big thank you to Irene and Andy for the informative night last night, at our 1st team manager''s meeting for the 2010-11 season. My son is new to the Blaze family but not new to the sport. We are extremely thankful Blaze decided to take on the boy''s division this year. You made a lot of boys (and their parents) happy by giving them a city to play in, now that MAC has closed down these developmental age groups. We need to continue the growth of this great sport for not only girls, but for boys too! We are very impressed on how well the club runs and the high level of communication that you have. We are really looking forward to a fun year watching the games, getting to know the new parents and other team managers. What more is there to say! This weekend was truly a testament to the
dedication and commitment of Matt and Steve as coaches for our
girls. The girls played their hearts out yesterday - everyone gave it
their best and truly came together as a team. Vanessa's serving
was on fire all day and Katie made some truly spectacular digs
throughout the day. Even though we lost in the semi's, you all played
hard. To all the girls, congratulations, to the parents, thank you for your
time, energy, support, laughter and fun. To Matt and Steve, you are
exceptional coaches and are truly deserving of a gold medal. You have
proved once again that you are not only exceptional gentlemen but top
notch coaches. I can only speak for Don and I, but we really appreciate
all your hard work and dediction to this team. The time you took to spend
with the team on Saturday, not only at dinner but playing Scategories,
payed off in the team bonding that took place on and off the court
yesterday. Thanks for hanging out with us old fogie parents too.
Great gold medal win in playing up in the 18U Bugarski Cup in Ottawa.
Want to send along congratulations to all of the blaze coaches that
assisted at this event. Sounds like the girls had a great time and
it would have been an entertaining game to watch. Good work, proud
to be part of such a great coaching staff.
My daughter was so honoured to play in the All Star game last night.
She plans to try out for Blaze next year. She loved the coaches, the
practice and being a part of the game. Thank you.
You folks are great to put on this All Star event for the young players.
Our school was so pleased to receive an invitation once again to
send a player to the All Star Game. This is such a great way to
promote volleyball in the elementary schools. We will definately
be sending a rep for this game.
Thank you to Blaze for choosing 'Toys for Tots' for your Christmas
donation. There are many toys given to the younger children, with few
for the older ones. Your donation has made it possible for some

The registration communication, quality of the staff,
programme delivery, rapport with the girls and the suthe Blaze community on a daily basis was far superior to any we have seen in previous sports groups. My daughter wants to join Blaze - and she will have our full support to do so.
